USA 1900s-40s BLACK AMERICANA POSTCARDS, SOME FOREIGN. Stack of 83 postcards, each with drawings or caricatures of Africans or African-Americans. Majority from 1906-10 but some later. Typical scenes of children and adults, themes of love, courting & humor, watermelon and beach scenes found. Several are from Europe (mailed from England, Belgium, Canada or Austria). About half have been mailed. Fine and better with some typical wear or ageing. (Estimate 300 - 400 US$)
