Cover to the United States, franked with India 1/2a blue, 1a brown, and 8a rose, prepaying the single letter rate to the United States via the British open mails. Stamps tied by “B / 172” concentric octagon killers, with associated red SINGAPORE / P.O. cds. on reverse. Front shows red manuscript “1 / 1” credit to England, red LONDON / PAID transit, red manuscript “16” cent credit to the US, plus N.YORK AM.
