Rayon II, Yellow, without KE (STONE A 1)

 Very Rare Stamp

Type 16 A1 / O for red and black print, respectively.
Type 25 A1 / U for the HEAD STANDING YELLOW PRINT.
Maximum attrakt. Copy in deep and fresh paint all around with very wide margins on three sides with dividers and right margin. Ideal and very clean tied with a black "FRANCO" in box AW440.
The devaluation is set optimally, i.e. THE VARIETY IS PERFECT FULLY VISIBLE U. (!). A rehearsed.
Bright spot is irrelevant and should be noted for the record.
So far, only twelve copies of this incredible variety in mostly modest preservation are known, one in the Postal Museum. Thus, the total number of these rare, less than half of registered Rayon II with full cross-border, which the exclusivity of this brand is more than clearly shows. In the present trade mark is not just about the most beautiful existing copy, but also to the first, the 108 years was found after the disbursement.
Originally, this specimen was in the collection of the great connoisseur of district expenditures Städeli Werner, a student of the legendary Dr. Munk. High carat rarity in excellent preservation of significant old Switzerland collection.
This documentation: "Rayon II - Misprint discovered after 108 years," Werner Städeli SBZ 2/596. "The upside of the yellow print rayon II", G.Honegger 1985th "The 12 known Rayon II showing the wrong yellow print," Urs Hermann 2012th Signed Stadeli certificates R.Berra (AIEP) and U. Hermann.

Great Britain - Official stamps 1902

Harmers SA Auction
GREAT BRITAIN, Official, 1902, 10s ultramarine

GREAT BRITAIN, Official, 1902, 10s ultramarine, overprinted "I.R. Official", raised period after "R", watermarked Anchor, perf. 14, unused without gum, with 1990 Heinz Georg Richter certificate which states "unused in perfect condition," also with 2010 BPA certificate, this one stating "pressed crease at upper left and color a little faded," quite harsh in our opinion as the color is perfectly even and crease totally marginal, hence Very Fine. A rarity from Great Britain, missing in most major collections as only 7 (!) examples have been recorded, apparently all without gum. A note from the BPA identifies this copy as position 1 of the block sold in 1947 by Harmer Rooke, pencil signed Hebert Bloch. SG No. O26a; L120,000 (173,940 CHF). Est. 50,000 - 75,000 CHF

CHINA, 1897, 3c Red Revenue

Rare China Stamp, Harmers SA Auction
CHINA, 1897, 3c Red Revenue

CHINA, 1897, 3c Red Revenue, unsurcharged, o.g., never hinged (few gum skips), post office fresh.
Very Fine and beautiful copy, with 2007 Experts and Consultants Ltd cert. Chan No. R1. Est. 130,000 - 250,000 CHF.
Originally ordered for internal use by the Customs Department, the 3c stamp inscribed "China" and "Revenue" was ordered from the London printing company Waterlow & Sons, following a request from Sir Robert Hart, the Inspector General of the Imperial Maritime Customs to James Campbell, the Customs Commissioner in London.

The stamps were perforated 12-16 on three different machines and were shipped to China on 18th September, 1896. Although the stamps never served their intended purpose, they were pressed into use for surcharging in order to fulfill demand for stamps in the silver currency adapted by the newly inaugurated national postal system. Practically all of the 650,000 stamps ordered from London were used for this purpose, according to the China Stamp Society Catalogue. Only 75 can exist unsurcharged. Unpriced.
