Bahrain 1960 Febr. Registered Airmail letter from the Postal Superintendent Bahrain to Chepstow, UK - redirected to Surrey. Very unusual no Bahrain stamps or canceller on front. Straight line “Postal Superintendent” in violet on the back of the envelope and “Bahrain” added in blue ink. Registered Mail from the PS office was usually franked with “Value Only” overprinted stamps cancelled by a Bahrain date stamp. The registration labels used were inscribed Bahrain P.S.
