Soviet Union 1922 cover front (actually, cover back!) bearing no less than 59 examples of the 10k on 7k blue definitive of 1917 Michel no. 115 (which was one of the last stamps issued in Czarist Russia), in various large multiples, as well as a 5k brown-lilac of the 1908-1918 definitives (Michel no. 67), all cancelled by multiple strikes of the Soroka c.d.s. in red dated 23.9.22, also visible in the only corner which is not occupied by stamps is a London registration postmark, which would indicate the cover’s destination, overall surprisingly good condition for a massive franking of this size, which appears to be absolutely complete, a late usage of Imperial stamps during the late R.S.F.S.R. period and a most impressive item in all respects, rare and truly outstanding.
