Thai Occupation of Kelantan, 1943 (Dec 21) commercial cover, double censorship with 12 Kota Bharu issue stamps including varieties used to Singapore, Thai Occupation of Kelantan Kota Bharu issue 2c X7, 8c X5 (Scott 2N2, 2N4, JSCA 10M8, 10M10) all tied with Kota Bharu Kelantan English only double ring cds (Proud D11). Of interest were 5 of the 2c stamps (4 including a pair on front, 1 on back) were “short” stamps. The size of these stamps were shorter by about 1 perforation hole. With boxed bilingual Kota Bharu censor marking (pencil in date of 30 visible) on back and boxed Ipoh number 6 Japanese censor marking in purple on front. This was the most number of stamps of this issue recorded on a single cover in collection. Also of importance was these short stamp varieties which were never reported and 5 of these were present on this cover. An amazing showpiece already opened up for display.
