PROBABLY THE EARLIEST RECORDED LETTER FROM BOSNIA, UNIQUE. 1700, entire letter from Wali Faizutah, Ottoman Commander in Mostar to his brother Salih Aga in Sarajewo (Saray) asking for 500 piastres. A rare and splendid early entire. Probably the earliest in private hand! (M)
