German Southwest Africa Termites postcard 1900: 5 Pfg., postal stationery postcard with postmark WINDHOEK DSWA 31 / 7 oo. The card signals several places clear Fraßspuren and carries the handwritten postal notice “damaged in Windhoek received, on the face of it from termites corroded, Hessian, post assistant”. With arrival postmark OUTJO 26 / 9 oo, round two months to posting the card, later to Windhoek returned and again entrance stamp WINDHOEK 15 / 10 oo. Existing postcard is the only known of the termites damage, which between Omaruru and Outjo happened is (the postman diseased on his way and died), certificate with photograph Steuer BPP.
