Egypt, 1871, Fronts of two covers/letters sent from Constantinople to PORT LAGOS, both franked by two singles of Egyptian 1867 1pia. red and tied with “V.R. POSTE EGIZIANE CONSTANTINOPOLI …” cds, one front bears the extremely rare Lagos postmark “V.R. POSTE EGITIANE LAGOS/26/APR/71”. Minor imperfections but a pair of good/fine and rare fronts.
