Syria YABLAH: “DJEBEL 12 9 918”, 2 strikes on block of 4 and horizontal pair 1915, 5 pa. on 10 pa. on postcard to Saffet with Beirut transit marks of 18.9.18 and frontside clear negative censor seal “MUAYINE OLUNMUSTUR AHMED HAMDI 1333”. Since Saffet was occupied by the British troups on September 26, the card most likely did not arrive at its destination; one stamp applied with long tear and cut in the top of the card going into the censor mark. A very rare item of Syrian postal history, the only known entire showing the Djebel cancellation
