United States 1902: McKinley 1 c. black postal stationery card showing ‘full face’ portrait, a fresh mint example handstamped at base DIE PROOF OF McKINLEY POSTAL CARD / ISSUE OF 1901. Extremely rare: the issue was ordered to be destroyed by the Postmaster General on April 29, 1902 due to poor printing quality. Probably the rarest of all US postal stationery cards.
