Newfoundland 1930 “Miss Columbia”, 50c on 36c green, l.h., fine, with 1985 Diena cert. This stamp derives its name from the monoplane “Miss Columbia”, piloted by Capt. Errol Boyd & Lt. Harry Connor, which made the trip from Harbour Grace to Croydon Airport, London. Only 300 were issued and at least 100 were used, (Catalog value $9,500)
