Highlights include Oct 1939 ‘4th Regt.U.S.M.C./Shanghai, China’ and 'Semper/Fidelis’ postmark on cover to New Jersey; 1943 Central Park picture postcard with 3¢ to Suriname, censor marks; 1947 Centennial Stamp Expo cancel, to Shanghai; Paquebot cover with 5¢ tied by Goteborg-New York postmark, Swedish ship; block of 4 1½¢ overpaying rate to France; 1940 New Jersey to Iran, forwarded to Philippines, Indian censor; 1946 diplomatic pouch handstamp, to Office of Political Action in Tokyo, 1¢ pair plus Texas commemorative; 1938 registered cover to tea plantation on Java, blocks of 4 for ½¢, 1¢, 2¢ and 3¢; Hartford, CT, to Gdynia, Poland, three 2¢ (1¢ overpaid), postmarked Sept 27, 1939, manuscript 'Poland momentarily in Germany’; June 1939, to Straits Settlements, five 1¢ formed into 'H’ pattern, hand-drawn woman in hat at left (sender?); 1948 registered & return receipt to Sweden; 1947 registered to Switzerland franked with 7¢ plus Stamp Centennial 3¢ & 15¢ souvenir sheet; couple Tin Can Mail covers, one 20¢ single franking, one with 3¢ and 20c postage due marking; Dec. 1940 Radio City Music Hall picture postcard to Tallinn, Estonia, delivered during Soviet occupation; several APO postmarks, some postcards or uprated postal cards; more.
