Mixed franking between one Rayon II and one 10 Rp. Strubel, 2. Müncher printing, on COD front from TÖSS to HERRLIBERG. Rayon type 18, stone E / LU, on all sides full to wide margins, cut lines on three sides visible and 10 Rp. Strubel blue, full to wide margins, three sides white margined, each stamp with perfect centered thimble Stempell TÖSS 1 OCT 54, accompanying repeats on C. O. D. Cover over 60 Rp. 10 Rp. postage for a cover in the 2. letter area and 10 Rp. COD commission, effective from 1. January 1852. a very scarce mixed franking. The validity the Rayon went out actual at the 30. 9. the 1. oct 1854 was a Sunday. It is another mixed franking from 1. oct recorded. Mixed frankings same denomination value are especially rare. So far are only 2 simple mixed frankings of this kind have become known. It is one of the most beautiful old Switzerland documents ever.
