(light stains, slightly reduced at left) to California franked USA 3c banknote (few perf defects) & pair Fiji VR 6d all tied to cover or each other by Levuka c.d.s. San Francisco arrival c.d.s. and bold “5”© internal rate h.s. on front. Note: As Fiji was not yet a UPU member, the USA franking may have been an attempt to pay the internal US postage. Probably unique combination and an exceptional exhibition item (Estimate 7500 GBP)
