JD-JG horizontal strip of four, good to large margins all round appearance, tied by four crisp black Maltese Cross cancellations to entire letter to Berlin dated 7 Aug. 1841, “macduff/penny post” handstamp and “hamburg/14 aug.” datestamp on front, framed “banff/aug 9/1841"and "hull/ship letter” on reverse; fine appearance and an extremely rare multiple on entire.
