Russia 1879 (23 May) registered cover from Warszawa to Germany, headed “M. Morgenstern, Warschau” and franked with two examples of 7k gray & red, horizontally and vertically laid paper, tied by cds, with “Vom Ausland uber B.P. Oswiecim-Breslau” registration label (rare), filing fold away from the stamps, with complete wax seal and Klingenthal arrival pmks. A fine and extremely rare combination cover with both vertically and horizontally laid paper
