Prince Edward Island. Pence Issue Covers. Mail to Nova Scotia. 1868 (9 Apr.) envelope from Charlotte Town to Halifax bearing perf. 11½-12 3d. blue and with despatch datestamp at left, upon arrival redirected back to Prince Edward Island with 1c. black and 2c. purple twice cancelled with Halifax “h” duplex, the reverse with Halifax and P.E.I. (23.4) arrival datestamps; some soiling on and around the adhesives though a very rare and remarkable redirected franking with two different currency’s. Greene Foundation Certificate (2000). Photo
