MAURITIUS-India, 1860 folded letter, franked with 1859 Dardenne issue 2d blue, horizontal pair, clear impression, bright colour, large to enormous margins, each stamp cancelled by "Paid" circular h.s. on 1860 entire (bottom flap missing) to Calcutta (1.3), showing red crayon "4" and, on reverse, "Mauritius / GPO" Crowned double arc d.s., "G.P.O. / Mauritius" double-ring d.s. and "Calcutta / Steam Letter" framed d.s.; the entire is a little trimmed at foot due to lower back panel missing, the ink of the address is acid eaten.
