French Departement Cancels 1792-1815 - Postal stationery - 1916 (12 Dec) Imperial 3k stationery card (written entirely in German) sent from Nyema village (located about 30km from Nolinsk, on the Postal route (tract) No.3 of Zemstvo post), used in combination with local 3k rose (wrinkled and creased), tied by large “Nolinskaya Zemskaya Pochta” departure datestamp, sent via the Imperial post office, with additional 1k orange added for outgoing foreign mail to Brunswick, Germany, via Viatka (21 Dec), where framed two-line War Censor handstamp (No.265) was applied, also with censor’s initials in violet. There is no evidence that this card actually reached Germany, especially under War conditions. Some toning and card creases, of no importance considering the rarity of the rarity of Nolinsk Zemstvo to a foreign destination, with 1999 Dr.Greis certificate (“belege der Semstvo-Post von Nolinsk sind extrem selten”) Dealer
