30/SE/1871 Buenos Aires - Bordeaux, per paquebot Gironde: Complete folded letter dispatched at the Consular Agency with postage paid: boxed “P.D.” in red. The double rate was paid with 2 stamps of 80c. Napoleon III and one of 40c. Republic (1870/1 issue), tied by “anchor” cancels. On arrival it received the “1 BRESIL 1 BORDEAUX 29 OCT. 71” marking in red, and on reverse datestamp of Bordeaux, very fine quality, very interesting!
