EGIPTO. 1866 (Sept.). Small cover sent probably from ALEXANDRIA with egyptian 1 piastre lilac and french 10 cts. bistre block of four (one margin cut with scissors). The cover was sent directly to the french ship and tied on arrival at Marselle with 2240 dots grill. On front PAQUEBOTS/DE LA/MEDITERRANEE in red and arrival cancels on back. Very rare combination, probably unique known. Signed Calves and cert. G. OLIVA.
