Lombardy Venetia 1850: 15 centesemi orange-red, hand-paper, Type I with large margins on three sides and barely grazed at top used on 1851 registered cover to Padova with 30 c. brown, hand-paper, Type I on reverse, ample to large margins all round; the 15 c. tied by ‘Este / 16 MAG’ two line datestamp and the 30 c. with framed ESTE handstamps in black. Framed ‘Raccomandata’ alongside and Padova arrival (17/5) on reverse. File fold well away from the adhesives, a marvellous and most unusual cover showing the usage of two ‘Este’ handstamps. Signed A.
