Brazil 60 r. black, fine impression, two horizontal pairs used on reverse of 1844 entire letter to the U.S. Consul in Rio Grande, both pairs with large margins all round and of excellent rich colour, each pair neatly tied by ‘Correio Geral Da Corte’ datestamps (July 30) in black.
