Great Britain - Michel - SG- No. H 1 (2) - 1847: The UNIQUE BLOCK OF ELEVEN of the 1 Shilling embossed. 1 Sh. green – imperf – on Dickinson silk thread paper – die WW1 – lightly cancelled with London inland office No.2 obliteration, large margins all around, crisp embossing and deep rich colour, assumedly to be the largest used unit in private hands. Some imperfections as to be expected (such as some smaller stains and marginal tears, creased along bottom of upper three stamps), but an exceptional showpiece and exhibition item of the highest calibre. Photo certificate RPSL, London (2015).
